The PicoSure Focus Skin Revitalization is the latest and newest technology. The PicoSure results are compared to the C02 fractional laser without the 6 weeks approximate downtime and pain. This laser utilizes multiple lens including the revolutionary focused lens hand piece, this hand piece delivers pico-second energy into the skin for the ultimate skin revitalisation, skin tightening, wrinkles, scarring, sun damage and pigment reduction. The PicoSure is the only FDA approved laser to treat melasma. The focus lens array basically creates microscopic photomechanical reactions in the dermis without any damage, leading to increased elastin and collagen.
After 4 treatments the PicoSure stimulates collagen and elastin production for 6 months approximately and over this time you will continue to see improvements in skin quality, texture and tone, This laser is effective and safe on all skin types, including Asian and darker skin types, in fact we treat mainly darker skin clients at our clinic.
There is virtually no downtime and usually you only require 3-4 treatments. The PicoSure skin rejuvenation treatments take about 20-30 mins to perform from skin cleansing to post care products. You will experience mild redness for about 20 miniutes and the treatment is tolerable with minimal pain.
We usually recommend for the best results a series of 3-6 treatments, We can treat the face, neck, decolletage, hands, arms, and any part of the body, depending on the skin condition and it’s a 4 week interval between treatments.
