What is Pigmentation?
Pigmentation on the face is a common and noticeable problem, especially for women. The critical issue is to diagnosis whether those are patches of darker pigmentation, or it’s normal skin colour which seems to look darker by vitiligo in the surrounding skin area.
Pigmentation called Melanin appears as brown patches on the face. This pigmentation is usually symmetrical. It reflects on both sides of the face. The most common areas affected are the bridge of the nose, upper lip or area around the lips, forehead and cheekbones.
How is Pigmentation treated?
At Richmond Skin & Laser Clinic we first analyse your skin as skin differs from person to person and suggest you the available options for pigmentation removal.
We use state of the art equipment and products to get you the best results in a relaxed session. More than half of all common pigmented lesions can be removed in just one treatment, never to appear again.
Most people between the ages of 30 and 50 will notice skin discolouration in some form. Sometimes it may only be slight and barely noticeable, other times it may create significant variation in skin tone.
Our laser treatment can dramatically reduce the discolouration and even out skin tone, creating healthier, younger-looking skin.
If they do occur, side effects are minor, and complications are rare. PicoSure technology delivers the optimum outcomes with Zero downtime. The treated area can also sometimes become more sensitive to sun exposure. But with proper sun safe precautions, the effects are minimal.
At Richmond Skin & Laser Clinic we specialise in Pigmentation Removal. We practice plenty of methods for pigmentation removal.
