It all started with Acne….
DMK was created by Danne Montague King in the early 1960’s, originally as a solution to his severe acne which he was unable to improve with the skin care available at the time. Danne spent many years studying botanical science and cosmetic chemistry and approached the skin as a scientist. He perceived that skin disorders such as acne, pigmentation and ageing were a result of disharmony in the way the skin functions. He theorised that if he could restore the balance in the skin, he would be able to revise the skin and restore its functionality.
Fast forward 10 years and Danne became one of the first biochemists to recognise the power of enzymes to hydrate and tighten the skin. DMK paramedical skin revision products are extremely complex and precise. They are designed to specifically work with the internal function and structure of the skin to effectively treat almost all skin conditions.
There are two main classifications of DMK’s hero ingredients;
Botanical – With a research team dedicated to extracting the highest grade of ingredients, these ingredients come from a wide variety of plants found around the world.
Pharmaceutical – Unlike many over-the-counter cosmetic companies, DMK formulations are pharmaceutical grade. This means that they have a more concentrated ratio of active ingredients to base ingredients. In comparison, most cosmetic products have a low ratio and therefore lack the active ingredients required to instigate real, lasting change.
